136028 2003-04-15 21:03:00 What are you connecting to on your pc first ??

You will have to forward the appropriate traffic within your router to your PC on the desired port. Look under NAT/Virtual server

eg: Port 80 --->> Your computer IP address for HTTP traffic

136029 2003-04-15 23:53:00 i want it so when someone puts in 210.86.61.1 that they connect to my PC not my ADSL external router sc0ut (2899)
136030 2003-04-16 00:59:00 Stilly question sc0ut

Why do you want to connect to your computer from the net e.g. by entering your IP address????

Do you have a server on something???

136031 2003-04-16 01:05:00 Also sc0ut seen your on XTRA then you will not be able to run a server any way. They block server from they jet start network or something...... stu140103 (137)
136032 2003-04-16 01:23:00 1. The external IP address you have is for the router. So ant request outside your place will resolve to that router.

2. Once the request finds the router the router will then need to forward that request to your PC. You should have a static IP address for your pc eg. 192.168.0.1

request -->router -->your PC
