| 136250 | 2003-04-16 10:31:00 | From a one page article called "Computer tweaks" in a magazine called "Silicon Chip" August 2002 http://www.siliconchip.com.au it tells how to make win95-98-ME, look like WinXP. first you go to www.skylarkutilities.com (www.skylarkutilities.com) and download "xpiraider.zip" 134K in file size. and have fun. .... and Drats I just went to the url (to test to see if the link works OK, and had to fix it up twice) to see if I could get xpiraider.zip and could not find it, so I put xpiraider.zip into google and found you can download a much bigger file. |

Ok I will have a go making it easier for noobies to understand :) :D Note: to noobies any thing, which has a .zip ext you will need to unzip before you do any thing else :). 1. You go to www.skylarkutilities.com and download "xpiraider.zip" But my question here is why on that page are you meant to download that file???? ?:| ?:| 2. Then un zip that file then......... as soon as a can get my hands on the file then I will be able to till u what to do next ;) :) |

| 136255 | 2003-04-16 20:29:00 | LOL - Ive done that before... I was showing off building a PC (A mean feat 9 months ago) which was a P75 running Win98SE, but the guy couldnt understand how I got WinXP running so smoothely! I used stardock.com's Icon Packager with XP Icons, combined with Desktop Arcitect and ThemeXP2 from a PCW cover Disc... Was great and ran a million time better than the real deal! Everything was free and can be foung on google! |
