| 136110 | 2003-04-16 00:32:00 | I have the standard OnBoard AC '97 that came with my mobo (Go figure - its onboard lol), and I also bought myself a 5.1 Channel SB!Live. I found the easiest way to configure Linux to use the SB!Live was have the AC '97 disabled in the BIOS, do a couple of reboots to get it set up and as default and re-enable it, but under doze neither need disabling, be it in the BIOS or whatever, Just open the Multimedia and Sound Properties in the Control Panel and you can use both.. Like the OB for Recording and the Sound Card for Playback :-) Hope this helps Cheers Chilling_Silence |
