| 136034 | 2003-04-15 22:43:00 | It's there forever! Remember that with PF1 there is a heap of people who browse the site and will find your question and it's reply who may learn from it. This may also prevent the same question from being asked 2 days later. The search function is really good for finding old posts that are on a topic we wish to enquire about. This helps prevent us reinventing the wheel. .Clueless |

I have a small amount of postings to F1, but boy each day I go through the questions and learn a lot from the replies . If I have a problem I firstly go to the search function and 99% of the time I find the answer . There is a wealth of info there However my only grouch, if I can call it that, is that nothing is in date order . Sometimes I have a problem and I remember seeing this on F1 say 2 or 3 months ago . To find that particular answer can take ages once you are in the archives as they are not in date order . Is there any particular reason for this? Smithie |

"Date range" is there to solve that very problem, that is if (unlike me) you can remember what day it is.. i mean was! If you can remember that a particular post was specificly Nov2002 then you have a better memory than I!! .Clueless |

I find it a nightmare sometimes myself and would dearly love to be able to search by dates that I specify in addition to the options given . Maybe one day (soon!!) when they have money and time to spare Bruce's team could have a go at improving it for us because the information here is such a valuable resource . |
