| 136019 | 2003-04-15 13:41:00 | which version of NT? NT4? Do you want to format the drive with NT on it or do you want to format another drive from within the NT OS? to format the drive if it has NT on it, simply get a 9x bootdisc, self installing iso's of which can be retrieved from www.bootdisk.com , boot using that and use fdisk to delete non-msdos partitions. Then create an active msdos partition, reboot and use format c: /q to format your hdd. If you want to format from within the NT OS, for NT4 click on start > programs > administrative tools > disc manager you should be able to figure it out. From a more recent NT OS, ie 2k/xp, simply right click on "my computer" and left click on "manage", you'll see disc management in the left pane, and that opens up disc manager for you. again you should be able to figure it out. |
