I Have assembled computers & installed software for about the last 6 yrs, BUT this one has me stumped.Intel 2-266/128mb ram/win98se/ie5.5 plus sp1/avg. The software combo being used on this computer is basicly the same as my own & 2 others (no probs),But this one comes up with Disabled cookies on hotmail over the last 4 mths.formatted twice/reloaded & still no change. Blew it all away today & fdisked/repartioned/formatted/loaded software from other disks including from PC World disks & still no change. Runs sweet otherwise.Compared ALL settings with my own & NO difference. |

upgrade IE to 5.5sp2 would be the first thing i would do. |

Hi, That was what I did last time, Then tried Opera & netscape with no difference.Blast it, even tried Ie6.---------Nope |

One often-overlooked cause of this problem is your system clock. Make sure the time and date are set correctly. If incorrect, they can prevent cookies from being correctly date-stamped and recognized. |

LMAO (prays) So far so good,sorted out the date & time slots, Went to a couple of kids hotmail accounts. Now to hope it holds Thanks Jim.b for the insight (hangs head in shame) & tweak'e. The owner has 5 kids & I just get so P**D with them killing things on it :-)))) |
