| 136863 | 2003-04-19 04:10:00 | CD writing with Nero and Easy CD creator fails both for data and audio recording when previously worked fine. CD reads OK however. Problem may have started when installing a second hard drive (80 GB). CD R-W is master on secondardary IDE channel. Hard drives on primary IDE channel. Tried reinstalling drivers, CD drive, and software. |

| 136864 | 2003-04-25 06:54:00 | Try defragging the hdd/s. If hdd's get fragmented they will create errors when burning cd's. Do this in safe mode. and scanning ya hdd's for errors. |

You have listed several devices. For testing purposes you may wish to try removing some devices to a previous state to see if it functions a lower power requirement level. or perhaps test the load to the system [may require certain equipment]. this is not the only possible solution. Yes fragmentation may cause errors, typically buffer underrun although it may vary. Do you have an *exact* error message? |
