| 136674 | 2003-04-18 07:40:00 | Hi, Some of my friends bought a new computer recently, and I connected it to the internet today. I have found that browsing a certain websites (Yahoo and Real.com so far) the computer will just randomly lockup and needs to be reset. I have updated Video, sound and modem drivers, had no affect. I also have downloaded all the windows updates, still does it. It only seems to do it with these two sites. I have never come across this type of problem, anyone have any ideas as to what could be the cause?? System Specs: AMD Athlon Processor S3 Video on MB 256MB RAM WinXP Home SP1 Sorry about the small amount of specs, but I can't remember all off the top of my head. Any help would be appreciated. |

| 136683 | 2003-04-19 03:33:00 | Yes, I have tried that too. I have also tried a different ISP. I am thinking that the problem is hardware related now. I think maybe the modem could be slightly dislodged or damaged. |
