137107 2003-04-20 02:55:00 "Warranty
The laptop usually have 1 year Janpan manufacture warranty. The details will be found from the Japanese warranty card."

how many kiwis can read japanese and how many are going to go to japan to get their laptop fixed. the retailer in nz MUST honour the warranty.

i wouldn't touch this with a 20ft barge pole.

Hmmm ... interesting purchasing options ..............

Lets see ....... shall I pay cash for a laptop from a business that hosts its site on a free-host ...... that uses "hotnail.com" (I prefer hotmail myself) .... I think not

This is a dodgy set up so would advise anyone to steer clear of it....................

137109 2003-04-20 06:04:00 Why did all of you say I am a cheater? I just want to start a homebussiness now. You can give me some advice, I will appreciate it.
Everybody knows the sonystyle sells all sony products at very high price, Why don't you let me try to find some lower prices for us? I can get the SONY highest model($5000) laptop $2000 cheaper than sonystyle($6999)!

I appreciate someone point out my wrong spell and use a free host. I will find a better host in the near future.

137110 2003-04-20 06:10:00 Most Kiwi buy second hand Japanese cars without any English manual. Why? Because they are cheap! Don't worry about the warranty. I will send the laptops to Japan for repairing.
I know there are something wrong with the purchase processing. I will fix it after I set up my business account.

Thanks everybody for giving me the advice.

yeah right! who is going to wait for it to be sent to japan and back??
you have to honor the warranty and if you import the product you will need to import the parts (unless they are already advailable here) .

its nice to see someone try to set up an computer buisness but don't forget theres heaps of flybynighters doing the exact same thing . importing cheap products is the easy part . supporting them is not (and exspencive) .

>Most Kiwi buy second hand Japanese cars without any English manual . Why? Because they are cheap!

yes but they are second hand not brand new . different rules apply .

137112 2003-04-20 10:17:00 Good on you for trying to start a new biz, but they would have to be a lot cheaper than that for me to buy via mail order.

Can you get to try them out somewhere first. I mean they are an expensive item

Where did anyone say that?

137114 2003-04-20 11:42:00 It is look like try some second hand laptop is a good idea . Because it is do not need any support!? Yes, you are right, try something cheap and not new is better .

The repairing time? I buy a watch at Michael Hill, I send it for repair for twice . The first time takes 1 month, and 2nd take half .

Anyway, still thanks your advice . It is let me think it more . Maybe try some easy products is more easier, something like MD or Digi Camera, or second hand products .
