| 137064 | 2003-04-19 23:45:00 | hi, wishing to use access97 db from my win98 machine on my xp machine . got the no license problem, which i fixed with renaming the hatten font file while reinstalling access . access now runs ok . problem now is . . . my db keeps crashing, sometimes won't preview a report & access will just close instantly, sometimes will preview, but as i click through the pages it crashes . haven't found a pattern or cause . i created a test db with a wizard which runs ok, but i really would like to be able to use MY db (which has been perfectly fine for 3 years on 98 machine!) . anyone else experienced anything similar? do not want to recreate the db, it was months of work . otherwise i will have to stick with using it on 98 machine only . |
