1335661 2013-04-06 21:11:00 Hi Team,
I have a Elite LAS8A2 mobo on which the cmos battery has reached the end of its life.

Does anyone know what make and modle the battery is please.

Cheers,

1335662 2013-04-06 21:18:00 I just went to PBtech and bought a few for all my old motherboards a while back.

CR202 is the type, almost all motherboards use this but I can't guarantee yours does.

1335664 2013-04-06 21:47:00 CR2032 are usually used, but not always.

Buy something reputable. Cheap ones are likely to leak.

1335666 2013-04-07 21:52:00 Thanks Team,
Hoping to buy a battery before I open the case.
Don't want to de-cable and open it twice.
Being lazy I guess, however thank you all.
