| 1310424 | 2012-11-04 02:57:00 | HERE ( . stuff . co . nz/national/christchurch-earthquake/7892780/Engineer-held-up-from-CTV-rescue" target="_blank">www . stuff . co . nz) Counsel assisting the coroner Richard Raymond said evidence would be heard from an engineer with listening equipment who spent two hours filling out forms at the headquarters before going to the CTV site . Health and safety procedures had tightened after the Boxing Day 2010 quake, Parfitt said . I'm gobsmacked! It's becoming clear that in Godzown the Lunatics have the keys to the asylum . :groan: |

Remember to be a good public servant you must dot the Is and and cross the Ts before anything is allowed to proceed.. If people die because of it then a procedure problem and I'm covering my butt.. | paulw (1826) | ||
| 1310426 | 2012-11-04 05:00:00 | And lets not forget Pike River where the Mine Rescue Team was prohibited from entering the Mine by a Cop seeking promotion . He got it too, but the authorities are running scared of the country finding out there were survivors that could have been saved had the Mine Rescue Team been allowed to enter . So come on Key, man up and allow those that are confident they can recover bodies enter the mine . Theyll sign a Waiver that its at their own risk . After all, they know what theyre doing . ;) |

Let em figure out where they went wrong, Then arm themselves with that information for the future. Armchair experts be damned. |

| 1310432 | 2012-11-04 08:57:00 | Well OSH seem to prosecute when ever someone gets hurt at work even if they do thing dumb. Pretty sure if an employee even broke a company rule and got hurt the scum at OSH will still prosecute the company. No reason why this woman should not be held responsible and jailed. | prefect (6291) | ||
