1309631 2012-10-31 00:55:00 Why not do this in the App Inventor? Wouldn't be difficult at all: http://appinventor.mit.edu/

I did something similar back in the day with a "Find where my partner is" that your partner could text you and it would reply with your location. Worked a treat. Wouldn't be difficult to do something similar sending an emergency text message to 4 people.

On top of that, you're asking somebody to build something for you, for free, and then not charge customers for it either?
Thoughts on it being Ad-supported, or a donation-app to go along-side the paid version?

1309632 2012-10-31 02:41:00 That App Inventer looks like the ticket.

Under the Tutorials theres two examples appinventor.mit.edu

LL - have a look at Number 3 on this list (womensissues.about.com), go to their site, looks like the thing you want.

1309633 2012-10-31 03:11:00 ( I'm gonna get crap for this :) ) Just installed it on my Android phone, have to make up an account, so may just get SWMBO to do it, she may be interested as shes often said theres some weird buggers about in town.

On the screen you get a bsafe icon, tap it and you get the following appear:

4440

Edited: just tried the GPS ( I'm Here) , not bad, put me right outside my front door.

Fake call works nicely as well.

1309634 2012-10-31 03:15:00 Wonder if I could whip something together in App Inventor this evening... would be a fun exercise :D Chilling_Silence (9)
1309635 2012-10-31 04:09:00 Adding to my post above, the bSafe works perfectly, added it to SWMBO's phone, hit the panic button and it rang and sent a text all at the same time. ( free version) wainuitech (129)
