| 1309393 | 2012-10-29 08:21:00 | So I have acquired a Galaxy S3 and it looks ok. My question is does anyone have a cell on Orcon that uses a MicroSim. The one in my Nokia N8 is too bloody big and I want to know if I can get one supplied through them. |

Came across a site which had a template to trim it by and then used callipers to check it. No problems. |

That's what gave me the idea - I was reading a blog by Seeby Woodhouse where he deduced he could DIY, and did so. So I figured if it was good enough for the guy that gave us Orcon in the first place, it was OK with me  |

Just don't keep anything on the SIM. Keep it on your phone and have it sync'd with a PC or online service such as Google Mail / Contacts etc Means the SIM is essentially a "dumb" device that purely allows your phone to connect to the cellular network and nothing more :) |
