| 1475789 | 2021-03-24 23:48:00 | We have just filled our motorhome with diesel and I have worked out that it is doing 11.6km to a litre. Is that good? When we were running on miles and gallons it was considered that 30 miles to the gallon was very good. But what about today's measurements? How does that rate? Thanks in advance for your comments. :thanks |

| 1475791 | 2021-03-25 00:29:00 | Thank you for that, Ken. We have a 2011 Transit van, so it's not a very big one - a good size for the two of us. I worked out that we should be able to travel Auckland to Wellington (about 600km) on a full tank with a few litres left over. Not that we would want to do that trip in one day, unless we were in a hurry. We usually take a couple of days staying overnight at somewhere near Taupo and usually refuel about half way. That's only about four hours driving a day which is plenty for one day. |

Perhaps it may be made a little bit more credible when you know that it has a 2.4 litre 6 speed manual and that is on the open road, not around town. |

| 1475798 | 2021-03-30 00:58:00 | Well according to my maths youre doing about 33 mpg which Id call good for a petrol, but Id be expecting a bit more, say 38 mpg for a Diesel. Naturally, weight and loading are a factor so there are variables like a roofrack. :2cents: | B.M. (505) | ||
