| 1470769 | 2020-07-28 05:09:00 | So I ordered a new ribbon cable which arrived today. It is not folded. 1044010441 You can see the original cable and how this was folded. Question is, is it Ok to fold it, how hard should the press be? Can I damage the cable is not folded properly. Any help is much appreciated. Mark | mark1978 (13845) | ||

| 1470772 | 2020-07-28 22:14:00 | the cables like that Ive bought in the past all came pre-folded . They were for Win notebooks though, not Macs Is the cable a non-genuine part ? If you search that part number, do the genuine parts show as pre-folded You really have any choice now anyway , unless you want to wait & buy again from somewhere else |
