2020-07-14 23:04:00 | I have bought a new laptop and want to be able to access my emails (Outlook) but when I enter the URL all I obtain is a blank Outlook with no emails. How do I access my old account? It seems that the email account may be tied to the old laptop. So what can I do? Your help is appreciated. :help:

2020-07-14 23:19:00 | If the Old laptop is still going open the email and check you have the right details, if the mails still there then the new laptop has a different account. Many people have multi accounts and sometimes use the wrong one by mistake, if you are using the webmail then everything should still be there, as web mail is reading directly from the Servers at Microsoft, not your computer. In other words If I knew your email address and password I could log in and read them from Wellington, it may challenge me as need to get a code sent to cell as in a different location. If you have used a email address to sign into the laptop make 100% sure its the same one as your actual mail. This is why I NEVER use a email address to sign in, it can confuse settings.

2020-07-14 23:37:00 | Outlook online/web version? was your old email setup as POP3 ? If so, all your OLD emails may be on the old laptop & would need to be imported to the new laptop. Send yourself an email & see if it pops up in 'Outlook' Where did you buy the new laptop. They may(should) be able to set this up properly & import old email if needed .

2020-07-15 10:13:00 | Have a Read support.microsoft.com If you are using a pst file and want to have web access as well you have to change the settings in outlook so they don't delete from the server. If using IMAP, then the web mail / Outlook Program will sync so what ever is on the computer will upload to web mail, including sent Items.

2020-07-15 22:05:00 | What version of outlook ? Its easy peasy to import psts :-) I dont think you can do it with Outlook Online though , it has to be the Outlook installed on the PC You can import them: File , open, import (best way) or copy the PST's to the C: somewhere , there 'open a PST' and the old email will show as a separate mailbox in Outlook
