1476201 2021-04-10 01:12:00 I have an old (9 years ) Omron thermometer which i bought from a Unichem. I did have a problem early on. Pharmacy replaced it (or battery)and has worked fine ever since. I prefer a personal relationship where possible where the store knows me and my history. I have never visited ,and do not intend to , use Chemist Warehouse. I have also been told (can't personally verify this) that some of their free prescription items are short dated stock i.e. near suggested use by date. I think of them as an impersonal conveyor belt business. Neil F (14248)
1476202 2021-04-10 06:54:00 As in this case of mine, I am sure, any NZ owned company will happily replace it or give me a refund with very little of no questions asked.

Won't go to Chemist Warehouse anymore. There are quite a few pharmacies have 'prescription' free, too in my area.

1476203 2021-04-10 21:20:00 Quite a few NZ companies do behave exactly the same way when you try to get a refund you know. PBTech for one.
NL for another.

CW at least started the whole free prescription thing...and we have yet to get such a thing in hawkes Bay. We get our prescriptions from a Akld chemist.
