I've googled my query but am not having any success with what I need to know. I'm replacing my current chromecast 2 with a new chromecast 3 and need to know the procedure. Do I just remove the power adapter and chromecast from my tv and plug in the new one? Should I reinstall Google Home on my android phone. Thanks |

lol, probably nothing. Just in the habit of asking first when it's my computer but this isn't so here goes then. |

Just unplug the old one and plug in the new one and then just set it up exactly the same way you did before.
Your phone or other device does not care and if you wished you could have several different Chromecasts set up on it. |
