| 1475468 | 2021-03-10 21:00:00 | Recently we visited the Kiwi House in Otorohanga where one of the keepers gave us a talk on the Kiwis which was very interesting. He told us, with a chuckle in his voice, that the Yanks think that we are called Kiwis after the Kiwifruit. You think that's funny? The Yanks also think that Kiwis eat Kiwifruit and some Yanks have turned up with trailer loads of Kiwifruit to feed the Kiwis. Incredible!:lol: |

Once its been explained to them bet "some" feel a little stupid. bit like any NZ'er going to another country some of the animals, traditions we wouldn't know about.
