| 137759 | 2003-04-22 01:29:00 | Recently (last 3 months) my computer has been acting weird. Every few weeks it comes up with an error msg. saying that my buffer is too small and i need to add dm=48 to the config.sys file. The only way i have found to bypass the error is 2 press F-5 at startup but it is annoying so how do u stop this from happenning??????? My pc is a HP Pavilion 8624 with 192 megs of ram an 8 meg video card a 15 gig HDD &Windows 98 2nd ed. it also has win 2k dual booting with two 7.5 gig partitions. The error ocurrs before the boot menu screen comes up. |

Does it run alright when you do this ? | zip1nz (2251) | ||
