137680 2003-05-04 23:41:00 When I first started using computers, I used an old Amiga and dialed up Bulletin Boards on an old 2400 baud modem. My handle was pretty unoriginal - Dave Lister (from Red Dwarf). Then I got into LaserStrike, and joined as a member. We had to pick handles, and my friend chose Deacon (from Blade, Deacon Frost - he was a real Stephen Dorff nut). I originally chose Trigger (short for Trigger Happy, having the highest shot rates in the complex!), but it sounded naff, like a dog or something. Deacon came up with my current handle - Lizard, because of my long tongue (possibly a World Record beater, by current measurements - not sure though), and when I was looking a for a handle to use on the net, it sounded better than ripping off a sci-fi comedy character. I will just be easing myself back in soon. Still don't have internet at home yet, and work is a little tight on the personal use.

But, I am moving house again in June when I plan to get connected again.

BTW I have changed my incorrect details.

OT: Saw Chilling at the ICE Expo on Sunday but he didn't see me Hehe! How did I know it was him?? He was logged on to PF1 of course!!

Hope to be back for good soon....

137689 2003-05-06 10:19:00 Jeez I must be slow. :(

I've been having a real D'oh week and finally noticed this thread. :8}

They say that confession is good for the soul, so I guess I'd better fess' up. It is not a lift from the late great Billy T James, because I can't sing, dance, play guitar or do stand up comedy, so that's probably enough to differentiate me.

I am Billy T because that was quick and easy to type the first time I logged on and it just kinda fits who (or what) I am.

Cheers
