OK, I suppose the name exLL does look a bit strange. Here is the explanation.

When I first posted on Press F1, I entered the word Learner as the first name but the posting was rejected. I then entered it as the last name, but that was rejected also. Finally I entered Learner for both first and last name. That went through, but it showed up as Learner Learner.

I made another posting and queried how to post with just one name and was told that although both first and last name boxes must be filled in, a space could be used in lieu of a character which would achieve the desired result of leaving one of the boxes blank.

I decided to stick with the Learner Learner thing and shortened it to LL.

When the new forum came along, it said that more than two letters were required, so as I was previously LL, I just added ex to make it exLL

:)

137672 2003-04-25 10:48:00 Kat has been a nic-name of mine for a while .. Usually used in the sentence " OI Kat ya b!tch, what the f*** have you done to my pen this time ???" At which point like all good felines I protest innocence ;)

I added an extra t for in this forum just to make the rest of ya lisp :P

137674 2003-05-04 05:59:00 Hey Beetle, that was fun. Hope there is some more to cheer me up. It is a cold and miserable day here today in the middle of the North Island and I am all alone. tutu1nz (3469)
137675 2003-05-04 06:19:00 Handles are great, theyre like a comfortable pair of shoes, you just throw them out and get a new one when they stop fitting.

Im in the "still shopping" phase at the moment, I used EvilGrin for maybe 7 years... but it doesnt fit anymore. I honestly cant remember where I got that from, but it seemed appropriate at the time ;-)

Well, Iain, it is just as well you returned with your old handle otherwise us long-time regulars would not have recognised you .

Welcome back . :-)

137677 2003-05-04 11:07:00 My current nick is from Robert Jordan's Wheel of time Series.....but I have a whole lot of nicks....because I have alot of interests, and they are varied so I like my names on them to be varied too, like my name at one site would not fit at another, so I like to keep them all separate.
Choosing nicks that I will never use anywhere else is a good way to do that.

I don't know doesnt make much sense, I just like staying 'under the radar' :)

137678 2003-05-04 11:56:00 That is somewhat of a surprise, its been over a year since I posted here regularly.
Still, it is nice to feel remembered ;)
