| 138089 | 2003-04-23 06:13:00 | Hi all - I am considering buying a digital camera in the near future. When I look a PriceSpy, the cheapest place I can get what I want is from Williams PC in Wellington. Of concern to me is the fact that their web page gives no street address - has anyone had dealings with them? Are they OK? I see when I emailed asking for confirmation of the price, a street address is given. Many thanks. |

Anyway, I've just finished helping my dad pick a digital camera. We ended up buying it from a local camera shop. They were only $50 more than pricespy's best, they threw in a camera bag & extra memory card, and we didn't have to worry about ordering online or pay for shipping. So it is worth shopping around the traditional way. Even though it involves more effort. |

They require a bank payment to process the order which is a pain, but you always get 1 to 1 assistance and prompt delivery :) http://www.starlyte.co.nz |

Maybe they didn't like your paranoid-interrogative approach? or maybe they were just busy ;) :p Try putting the item you want in your shopping cart, and pretend like you want to buy it. (You aren't forced to buy it if you do this and you don't really have to give many details at this stage, like credit card or anything) then when they reply to you, ask them all the questions then. They don't take credit card I believe, just bank payment. |
