| 138716 | 2003-04-25 01:21:00 | I just did a defrag in “stupid mode” after pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete and closing down all the extra programs, The defrag went through as normal, but when it finished there was still a line of green blocks (clusters) and then a gap and a few more blocks, normally it finishes with blue and there are no gaps unless there are system files at the end, so I did a defrag again and got the same results. So then I went into “safe mode” and it seems. I always get to see the same“defrag.avi” movie, with green blocks at the end, Has anybody else had this problem on Windows 98? |

| 138717 | 2003-04-25 06:04:00 | I forgot too say because it is not too important, I last did a defrag two days ago, and I just deleted a folder called 2002 and was about to replace it with 2003, 2003 been the year of happy days, it's all down hill from here like it has been for many years, but before I wished to add in 2003 I thought I would do a defrag, all the defrag has done is changed the 2 to 0 days since last defrag, I still get a big white hole at the beginning of the defrag on page one even thou I have "done it" many times today, Maybe before anybody criticizes anybody today they should think of "Windows" first. |

Either install *nix or perhaps IBM DOS or Caldera DOS or FreeDos - that way you won't have to see defragmentation within Windows again . Btw - noticed what firm developed it? I take these comments below are defrag programs???? were does one find them??? I download two defrag program off internet, but they both use microsuck defrag programs to defrog your hard drive .
