| 139194 | 2003-04-26 23:23:00 | Hey I was down Rotorua way for a holiday and with my trusty 1.3MP Kodak DX3215 i took this picture... A few people have told me its "nice" and "pretty" but i have been living in this country to long to really admire the bueaties of NZ. Tell me what you think! | 139195 | 2003-04-26 23:44:00 | That is a lovely image - very serene. :-) New Zealand is a beautiful country and it is a shame that people do not appreciate just how lovely it can be. A lot of people travel overseas and come back saying how great country X compared to NZ, without ever experiencing the wonders of their own country. I have travelled extensively, and can say that NZ can hold its own when it comes to scenery (especially the South Island). It is sad that you are jaded to such sights. Open your eyes and take a fresh look around you. :-) Jen |

I can not afford such a holiday, because earth has gravity and the world sucks, I would like to have a holiday if I have some money, and my work sucks, I know because my boss works in it. | 139197 | 2003-04-26 23:47:00 | I take photography at school, and it's nice how the wooden structure has framed the picture nicely... Might have been EVEN better with black and white film?? That's one thing I like about printing my own photos, you can control the level of contrast, and decide which areas need to be lighter or darker etc... cheers, caffy |

| 139199 | 2003-04-26 23:52:00 | Well, i have to say, this pic was kind of a fluke, i saw it, it looked nice, so i zoomed just a tad and took it!!! I really havent a clue about photography but i though the wood frame would look kinda nice to! Maybe i could enter it in some amatuer photograhy contest??!? |

| 139201 | 2003-04-27 00:07:00 | Polk, it's a great picture! Just enough colour to give it a bit of mood. Nicely divided into thirds (supposedly the hallmark of a well constructed image). Amazing how often the best pics are the ones you take casually without really planning. Well done. Can I please keep a copy? andy |

| 139203 | 2003-04-27 00:34:00 | very nice maybe there could be a place where we can all put a pic on and maybe even have a kind of compitition where we can vote for each others pics... and win trips overseas or thousands of dollars! with some of that spare pcworld profit!! (just kidding) just like the mag one comp but WE get to see and vote for them... different themes each month n'all.. what do ya reckon? |
