Well, cappuccino, it is simply allowing those who are responsible for managing the PF1 site to make the decisions, not a bunch of self-righteous hangmen. Despite occasional protestations to the contrary, a few frequenters of PF1 do indulge in *cough* dubious computing practices, but they don't sing about it quite as loudly and there is definitely less malice in their actions. They usually show their interest only when attempting to help somebody out. You will note that Bruce has taken appropriate action, that is the rational and reasoned judgement I promoted. In my mind there was never any doubt that Tim would be banned, but I didn't think it needed a lynch mob to achieve that (meant in the nicest possible way of course, because I do appreciate the anger that type of poster can arouse).
