I have already contacted Orcon regarding the problem, and had taken a copy of the code from the web-site regarding the problem. With a bit of luck you will lose any of your hosting accounts with Orcon, and they may contact your ISP regarding breach of their ToS. Enjoy. |

That's enough whiskey - Tim's young and stupid, but give him a break - he has no idea what he's doing, and just probably included the script cause it was included in a script stolen from someone else. He went through a hard time a while ago because of stuff he said, and he's been really good lately - don't let one small slip up that he probably didn't know much about ruin his good work up to now. Have you ever downloaded a copyrighted MP3? If so perhaps we should contact your ISP as well...??? Mike. |

That is what we call intent, and is hardly a small slip-up, and as he states below the web-site was INTENDED to capture passwords. Sure it's illegal, just like downloading an MP3, however you don't see people blatantly posting their illegal MP3 collection or illegal software collection on the internet. If I see someone spraypainting a wall, or assaulting someone, or shoplifting I'm not going to stop and think "well they look like a nice guy" or " they've been good so far" I'm going to call the Cops end of story. This is basically the same situation. You're more than welcome to contact my ISP if you can find out who it is, I'm sure they'd be rapt to hear from you. |

That makes it a public item, would be no different to you trying to get pin number off an ATM, public place, public action, public crime. I find it extremely hard to believe you created an entire website, sub-domain and all to get one persons password, and regardless of that it is wrong. Full-stop. End-of-story. I've done what is right, as who knows how long that site could've stayed up, and how many people you could have ripped off before it was found. Just looking out for the little guys... ;-) |
