Heading East, South, or North?

139216 2003-04-28 03:14:00 I'd have to agree with JM - it took me a while to see past the boat "trailer" and take the whole scene in.
Very well done Polk - wish a lot of mine had come out that good

139218 2003-04-28 05:12:00 With a bit of digital magic I could say I was there and have proof too :P jokes, It's a great photo and if it's a good tourist place in NZ why not try and sell or kindly offer your photo to a postcard company or something?

You've got nothing to lose on sharing NZ's beauty.

139219 2003-04-28 09:09:00 Hi Andy, not so, my resolution is set to 1024x768 TruColor 32 bit so I increased it to 1152x864, still at 32 bit Tru, but the only diff was the loss of the left/right scroll bar. The up/down remains !!

Cheers

The picture is 1024 x 768 as stated
If your screen resolution is set to 1024 x 768 then logically you will not see it all, as your browser will occupy some of the real estate.

My browser auto-resises the image to show it without scroll bars.

That's really weird cos when I check the properties on the picture as I see it, it comes up as being 907 x 680 (my screen is set to 1152 x 864 x 32 bit). Does IE6 auto-resize the picture? I certainly didn't - and I don't see any scroll bars. I wonder sometimes that these computers are starting to become sentient - they do what they want, not necessarily what we want . (hey, isn't terminator 3 out soon?)

andy

Whoa.....I just had another look and thought, What's that funny looking orange box with the four arrows in it down in the corner of the picture? I clicked on it and pow! the picture is now 1024 x 768 and has an up-down scroll bar! So, sorry Tobas, you were right, I was wrong, I apologise.
Too clever, this XP stuff - 98se was safer!!
