| 139316 | 2003-04-27 05:03:00 | Chances are if you can't operate the Caps-Lock key on your keyboard you probably shouldn't be opening your computer case. Get the manual. Read it. Find the jumper setting to disable onboard video, or look in the BIOS. |

| 139317 | 2003-04-27 05:11:00 | Yes totally - if no option in BIOS there will be a jumper - check mobo manual. The GF4 MX 440's are good - I have one in the closet (using Ti4600 until NVIDIA get their GFX sorted out!) - was extremely overclockable!! :p |

| 139318 | 2003-04-27 05:38:00 | The manual shows that you do not have an AGP slot. I hope you have a PCI version of the card. If you do, then go into bios and click on the PCI/ plug and play Setup. Then change primary graphics adaptor to PCI. While there also make sure Allocate IRQ to PCI VGA is set to YES. Save and exit, then turn off PC. Put in card and restart PC. | Pheonix (280) | ||

| 139320 | 2003-04-27 05:48:00 | Yes - I had to look at the specs twice - the onboard video chipset supports AGP4X - which is good for the onboard video chipset but unfortunately you can't plug in an MX 440 if there is no actual AGP slot.:( I also hope you have a PCI version - I'm not sure what the performance difference would be - PCI 64MB vs Onboard AGP4X 64MB - obviously the onboard chipset is a peice of **** though. :) |
