139315 2003-04-27 05:01:00 Plug the card in and it should automatically disable the onboard if there's no option in the BIOS to do that. Remember you can't disable it unless there is another Video card present. Kame (312)

Get the manual. Read it. Find the jumper setting to disable onboard video, or look in the BIOS.

139317 2003-04-27 05:11:00 Yes totally - if no option in BIOS there will be a jumper - check mobo manual.

The GF4 MX 440's are good - I have one in the closet (using Ti4600 until NVIDIA get their GFX sorted out!) - was extremely overclockable!! :p

139318 2003-04-27 05:38:00 The manual shows that you do not have an AGP slot. I hope you have a PCI version of the card. If you do, then go into bios and click on the PCI/ plug and play Setup. Then change primary graphics adaptor to PCI. While there also make sure Allocate IRQ to PCI VGA is set to YES. Save and exit, then turn off PC. Put in card and restart PC. Pheonix (280)

139320 2003-04-27 05:48:00 Yes - I had to look at the specs twice - the onboard video chipset supports AGP4X - which is good for the onboard video chipset but unfortunately you can't plug in an MX 440 if there is no actual AGP slot.:(

I also hope you have a PCI version - I'm not sure what the performance difference would be - PCI 64MB vs Onboard AGP4X 64MB - obviously the onboard chipset is a peice of **** though. :)
