139617	2003-04-28 09:36:00	hi me again....yes still here! anyway wot i am here to say is the other when i was getting help for my puter and i happened to say my sisters computer was sick almost dead and if did go was so slow that they sent it back its about 3mths old.. and she has just got it back after 2 - 3 weeks in the shop and she has just found out what the problem is. SPYWARE has crippled her computer so badly that it nearly ceased working and the fix it shop said it was the worst case they have seen but they did not really explain wot it is and how do you get rid of it... i know sort of wot it is but i find it difficult to explain is their any easy way or something to look at that a NEWBIE will understand? can some one help ? does anyone have a easy page to read ... i have looked at heaps and i even and adaware but i just dont get some of the jargon... i have suggested adaware and spybot... the fix it company said that some of the sites she had been visiting while not illegal or porn etc were not the sort of sites to visit if you get my meaning and it turns out its probably her 16 yr old son ( a newbie 2) who surfs for ? their is not much communication their... hmm and maybe it was him who interfeared with my puter knowing this now... makes me think of hackers and crackers again. oh dear thanxs is this a stupid question? feels like it cos i dont get the puter lingo in my head. beetle	beetle (243)

If so, you should get your self a copy of it, it is very help full for newbe to computers, it gives tips & other useful information… Also they have a mag out called NetGuide HelpDesk Fixed! 139621	2003-04-29 01:06:00	:D well thank you for the help... the net guide book? is that the little book you see at the super markets? have seen one ages ago but have not usually had time or money to get magazines let alone had time to read them....LOL who has time? this other one (same mag comp?) is that a one off thing or is it a regular magzine weekly / monthly etc? where can i get one of these? a book shop? supermarket? thanxs stu just wot i needed some with other means of help.... now to get one.. 139624	2003-05-01 10:49:00	:D yes im still here but had a bit more info on this topic... found out that my newphew spent a lot ......and i mean a lot of time useing and surfing on Kazzaa (dunno spelling) and the fix it shop said that it was killing the system and the puter was riddled with programs and spyware from Kazzaa..... and dont some people use this? ???? so that is not good. is it? :D LOL flame time now? beetle	beetle (243)
