| 139594 | 2003-04-28 09:20:00 | I have "captured" a video film from my camera onto my HD and want to know if/how I can add music to it so i can put it onto a CD. The software I used to capture it was PIXELA. It came with the camera. I tried with this but obviously did something wrong. Any advice out there ??? My OS is XP home |

If you have a movie file with no sound, and a sound file and want to stick em together, then VirtualDub will do it for you fine. If however you want to add sound to a movie that already has sound, you EITHER have to extract the soundstream, mix it with the new sound file in a seperate program, and then interleave it again with VirtualDub, OR simply find yourself a trial copy of Adobe Premiere, it is really the best 'simple' way of doing your own video editing. Only one problem though, its ported from the Mac, and looks it ;-) Iain |

If you're going to mic sounds etc. Check out: http://www.goldwave.com Download the shareware versions (Un-restricted use) of GoldWave and Multiquence, both are great for editing songs/sounds/soundtracks, and Multiquence especially is good for mixing tracks! Adobe Premiere.. must look into it :-) |
