| 139640 | 2003-04-28 22:52:00 | I wasnt online last night when things started to get messy, but had CyberChuck txt me and say it was going down from ICQ :-) Anyways.. Trying to go this morning and I get timeouts for the main page :( Are we allowed to know what went wrong this time? |

I would like to find answers to why some sites I could get to and others I couldn't but I'd never get those answers if it was because of a DNS problem, ISP's don't like telling people that their services weren't being provided due to their failure. |

| 139643 | 2003-04-29 01:36:00 | Nope - same old same old. There is a problem in the Jive code that's more to do with it processing posts in an illogical way than anything else. I won't give full details because i don't want Mike to experiment and crash the server but to fix it will require re-writing some core code and we have been evaluating how bets to do that. | Biggles (121) | ||

| 139645 | 2003-04-29 02:49:00 | Well it wasn't the server that crashed as it was still responding to pings when I couldn't access the page. Wasn't a DNS as it was resolving to the correct IP. Just the usual ofcourse. |
