| 140253 | 2003-04-30 06:01:00 | have windows XP Pro and NTFS partitions. When I right click a folder to change the NTFS security permissions there is no "security" tab. Where has it gone? How do I get it back? Something inside windows has become corrupt, but what? |

| 140255 | 2003-04-30 07:50:00 | Try turning off Simple file sharing (From Explorer click Tools > Folder Options. From the new window click the View tab, and in the Advanced settings box scroll right to the bottom and remove the tick from "Simple File Sharing". HTH Mike. |

Robo, I have no idea :) I wouldn't think so, but there are hidden things that turning simple file sharing off would activate, and something might cause something else to go weird... but it's only a matter of trying it to see - if it stuffs things up, turn it on again :) Mike. |
