| 140189 | 2003-04-30 07:44:00 | I think that the 64 bit thing is cool but at this stage we dont realy need it. but in a year or two when we have a 64 bit windows and drivers and games and all such. when the 386 came out most of the reviews said "we dont need that much of power, no one needs 32 bit computing" but with in a year it was the only way to fly. unless you are building a super computer or devoliping for 64 bit then i dont see the need at this time. it is a case of the "chicken and the egg" you cant use the 64bit chip with out the software but you cant devolip the software with out the chip..... given five years we will all have 64 bit system but for now i will pass and save my $1000 |
