| 140025 | 2003-04-29 09:17:00 | Nearly everytime i use the PC world plus - new or old, funny things happen to my computer, sometimes i cant read certain folders in pc world cd, other times it takes 5 minutes for the download box to come up when I view it in microsoft explorer. really weird things happen, blue screens etc..its really annoying | Beef (1415) | ||
| 140026 | 2003-04-29 09:20:00 | Try using a different browser... I think I'll make a request to put Phoenix on it.. Mozilla's featured a few times.. and NetScape and Opera get a look in sometimes.. but what about Phoenix??? Google Search for 'Download Phoenix Nightly'. Its still in Beta, but crashes less on ALL PC's Ive used it on than the Final of IE6, with or without SP1 does! |

I had a similar problem when I used Win 98. the way I got around this was simply not to use the IE version of the CD I just viewed the CD in Explorer view (ie see the files) and then selected the file that I wanted to download. I hope this helps. IE 6 might fix the problem as well if you don't already have that. |
