140018 2003-04-29 08:19:00 I recently downloaded a time correcting software program from ATC and then found that it was not necessary as I have windows XP which hjas its own time setting facility. When I try to uninstall this program it tells me that the file ATC cannot be deleted as access is denied. I have tried going into properties to find out why but there is no reason outlined there. Can you help ? Heaton heaton (3697)
140019 2003-04-29 08:27:00 Try restarting Windows XP in safe mode (when you restart your computer, just before the Windows XP splash screen comes up hold or repeatedly press the F8 key, then from the menu select Safe Mode), and when it's loaded try uninstalling the program.

140020 2003-04-29 08:29:00 It is probably starting with windows, so won't let you at it. You could alt-ctrl-del and close it if you know it's name. Then delete the program. Or you could go start-run and type in msconfig From the picture that starts up, click on the starup TAb and untick the program from there. restart PC and then delete it. Good luck. Pheonix (280)
