| 139833 | 2003-04-29 06:35:00 | Just wondering who actually bothers to keep MS Office if they've got it up to date. I find that I'll usually grab the service packs if I remember but don't think I've ever got one of the other updates. Your experiences please. |

| 139838 | 2003-04-29 07:01:00 | Good question !!! We have never updated, applied patches etc for around 4 years and that applies to any product except antivirus and the likes of ad-aware. Found out long ago that such actions often resulted in problems of one sort or another. If we can avoid it, we don't even register anything as well. as we have found it is far better to "pay the price" for the next version, rather than updating an existing one and suffering those odd problems as a result. It will be interesting to read the replies. |

| 139839 | 2003-04-29 07:07:00 | Have never updated Office before, but got the April PC World mag mainly for the updates to Office XP. :D Was putting off installing them though, because I could possibly be reformatting soon. That may be later rather than sooner so I guess I will get to try them out first after all. :-) |

| 139840 | 2003-04-30 01:39:00 | Have been using Office 97 for 5 years. Occasionally Windows Update (W98SE before, and now Me) offers a security patch which I always install. Have never had any problems with the program. |

| 139841 | 2003-04-30 03:33:00 | I am running office 2000, & I have not instilled any SP or any fixes for office. I have had a look at the office update website but that is it. ( I Not too sure if my dad has I guess so not too sure, but I have Not) If I start using Microsoft Outlook a bit more then maybe…. |
