| 140746 | 2003-05-02 07:43:00 | from the win2k help file: To require or disable a logon password in a workgroup setting Open Users and Passwords in Control Panel . On the Users tab, do one of the following: *Click the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box to require users to provide this information when they log on . *Clear the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box to allow a user to automatically log on . You will be prompted to provide the name and password of the user who will be automatically logged on each time the computer starts . |

| 140748 | 2003-05-02 08:24:00 | not 100% sure with win2k but tweakui (or power toys) has an auto logon optoin. fill in name and password and it will auto log you in on startup. | tweak'e (174) | ||
| 140749 | 2003-05-02 08:31:00 | Is this a Network Login or a User Login?? ?:| You could use TweakUI to get around both... ;) CyberChuck |

| 140751 | 2003-05-02 09:10:00 | It shouldn't be a .dll file - it should be a .cpl file Put it in the C:\Windows\System32 folder, and then open Control Panel, all going well there should be a new program in the Control Panel called TweakUI - just have a nosy around there for automatic logon CyberChuck |
