140657 2003-05-01 23:36:00 I'm having trouble, I click connect and it dials the number, it gets to verifying the username and password, then it says connected to host computer, then it disconnects and says unable to connect to host computer and comes up with an error 720.

I've checked all the settings and made sure TCP/IP is loaded, PPP is loaded and I've contacted xtra and confirmed username and passwords, also phone numbers and DNS numbers are correct.

I've worked through the error 720 troubleshooter (running WinXP), and come to no joy.

I've even, removed all dialup connections and started from scratch. I've even removed all network protocols and reloaded them. Still the same problem.

I'm thinking a possible corrupt registry, any ideas before I go and reinstall the whole OS?

Many thanks

Is this computer on a network?

140659 2003-05-02 02:32:00 I had a terrible time trying to connect last night (1st May, 6 - 9pm.) through Paradise or Jetstream games. I tried FreeNet dialup and it connected, after many attempts, but at a really low speed. All seems ok today though ... there may have been a problem (maybe the IP's are switching servers off to save power lol).
