140649 2003-05-01 15:56:00 On back of my computer have 3 jack sockets for my sound card to plug stuff in.. One Socket for my Speaks the other is for the Microphone but what is the other socket plug for????

If you buy speakers with Sub Woofer would the Sub Woofer plug into extra socket all does it use the Speaker socket????

140650 2003-05-01 20:44:00 That would be a Line In jack, used for things coming from the Line Out's on other Soundcards/appliances.

Certain speakers use their own plug for the subwoofer, however I went to QMB.co.nz and bought a cheap $40 set of 2 speakers and a subwoofer, just uses a normal 3.5mm jack and splits the sound when it gets to the amp I'd say :-)
