140704 2003-05-02 02:28:00 Help.

Sometime ago I used a free program I downloaded to use my PC as an answerphone. It was fairly easy to set up, and allowed multiple mailboxes for different family members. The messages were condensed in size and it worked a treat.

I don't have the program any longer and can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I do recall the graphics and background were green though. I have looked on the web through Google but haven't come up with anything yet.

Can anyone recommend a free PC answerphone program? I don't need faxing ability as the XP fax program works well for me.

Thanks

J.

140706 2003-05-02 02:54:00 Thanks Peter - I found that one and tried it too, but it doesnt allow you to record your own greeting message :(

The preinstalled male American voice is a bit uggghh, especially as SWMBO has decreed that USA products are banned from this household (buts thats another topic .... <looking at my HP monitor drinking Coke and feeling naughty> ;))

I'll keep looking
