| 1336347 | 2013-04-10 22:48:00 | Hi Guys Just set up a new machine and copied some data files to it. Now all of the files in all of my folders are read only. Had a quick look around and it seems that this is an obscure Microsoft bug since XP. I had it once a couple of years ago and forgot what I did to fix it. Is there a fool proof way to fix it. It does seem that there are many work aorunds some work on some machines, and some work on others. This is crazy. |

From Wiki It is possible to redirect: * Users * Documents and Settings * Program Files * Program Files (x86) en.wikipedia.org For example, if you try to open the folder "Document and Settings" in Windows Explorer, you'll get "access is denied." |
