| 1336176 | 2013-04-09 23:50:00 | Depends on the size of the firm, I use a site ( D from Dunedin, C for Christchurch) then type (D=desktop, L=laptop etc) then a number so a PC in CHCH name will be something like DC01. Bigger firms I worked for being along the lines of PDUDD0001 (Pacific region, Dunedin site, desktop, number 0001.) For servers I use the likes of DunExchange01. | Alex B (15479) | ||
