| 1335939 | 2013-04-08 10:57:00 | I need to download a free email program for Windows 7. Had previously used Outlook Express with XP. Mozilla Thunderbird is on newly purchased laptop. I don't like it. Currently use paradise.net as main account. Also have a Hotmail and a Gmail account which used irregularly. Would appreciate advice on which program will best meet simple requirements and which will enable easy transfer of existing data to "new" laptop. Tks |

| 1335940 | 2013-04-08 11:11:00 | Since you dont like thunderbird, ( dont blame you either) theres always live mail, its part of the Windows Essentials windows.microsoft.com when installing, you select the custom install and select the programs you want to install, mail being one of them. Its basically a combination of Outlook Express and Outlook. Hotmail soon will actually totally be Outlook.com and this integrates into Live mail easily. Gmail, its only a case of setting it up to accept it.configure-gmail-in-windows-live-mail (www.thewindowsclub.com). |
