As for merging MSN and skype I don't see the point, they duplicate functions so why not just kill of MSN and tranfer the user accounts over. |

That's pretty much what they're doing, although you can now sign into Skype using a Microsoft account and that's Messenger there. |

| 1310925 | 2012-11-07 23:05:00 | Gtalk does seem to be a good alternative. XMPP being an open protocol it can be easily supported by any software. Pity Google video is only supported by their software though. |
