1310795	2012-11-06 21:54:00	Sheep shaggers, paedophiles, politicians and insurance companies... all in the same league as far as I am concerned. Rotten sods!! You have to battle for anything you are entitled to..always! Six weeks ago I was sitting in my car on the side of the road with SWMBO, waiting for grandaughter to come after her netball game. All of a sudden there was a crash on the roof, caused by a kid falling of his skateboard, which shot out onto the road, got clipped by the rear wheel of a passing truck which flung it in the air and did $1000 worth of damage to my car. The boy rang his mum and she came down and accepted liability and gave me all her insurance details. rang them and they accepted the claim but when I picked up the car after panelbeating, they wanted $300 (my excess). As I know them they said to sort it out and let them know the result. Insurance company said this was an excess, as the womans broker was contesting responsibility. Unfortunately for them, when i first rang them just after the accident, the girl on the phone said the the broker was one of their subsiduary companies. that fact gave me all the ammo I needed and in a short time had the $300 wiped and an letter of apology that I had demanded. barstewards!!! 1310796	2012-11-06 22:06:00	Agree with both of you. what w***ers My house insurance has doubled in the last 12 months and is over $1000 per year. Just for the house. Time to shop around but i still doubt any one can beat AMI for price.	Gobe1 (6290)
