1311654 2012-11-13 01:52:00 I would be interested but I've already got one coming from Aussie as a "gift". Anyone have recommendations for what should be put down on the customs declaration to mimise/avoid any fees when it gets to NZ? Also, doesn't seem to be avalible through play yet either even though it is the 13th? i.imgur.com Anyone able to shed any light? xyz823 (13649)

Buying something for yourself and declaring it as a gift for customs purposes is illegal. Purchasing something online and having it sent as a gift does not qualify as a gift for customs purposes - only items sent directly from one private individual to another are considered gifts.

Edit: Making a false declaration is also illegal, as is tax-avoidance. Just be honest, declare the item accurately, and pay any taxes / duty that may be applicable.

1311657 2012-11-13 02:25:00 Yeah it's best not to try that, if they catch you, you're in *big* trouble...

EDIT: Also it'll come on the 13th in the US won't it? So roughly the 14th our time, though I'm wanting to place the order on the 15th.

Looks like it could just be a site issue? www.reddit.com

Although, I could be interested in getting one from US with everyone else if that is okay. I'll let you know sometime tomorrow and sort out the $$$.

Hopefully they don't sell out in the US too!

Hi Chil,

Had a talk with the finance committee and as my SGS2 is only 13 months old I'll pass until the Nexus 5 bulk order next year..

1311662 2012-11-13 07:54:00 My One X is only 4-ish months old (Maybe 5?) and before that I got the Galaxy Nexus in January...

My wife says I'm obsessive. I said thankyou for noticing.
