You will never have a subject which EVERYONE has the same point of view on... and if you don't want oposite opinions on a topic you are for/against then don't pubicly post about it and expect everyone to agree with you... I do concur. Not everyone agrees with what you say. If it was only a constructive criticism on the subject of the thread that would be great, but sadly that is not his way. Not only does he disagree - which I have no problem with - but he frequently personally attacks the person as well as their opinion. It's a type of behaviour we could do without. Prefect has said that he has been savaged quite a few times. He does not recall him agreeing with anything Prefect has said. That has nothing to do with the veracity of the opinion, it is a personal attack and Prefect is not alone. I have been a victim of his personal attacks as well. He takes personal attack to a new level. One thing I will say in his favour - he is consistent. The people he dislikes he consistently dislikes. He plays no favourites and pulls no punches. Why do we need someone like that? |

Why do we need someone like that? We have a number of members here that are just like that, many of whom have already posted in this thread. Suck it up, get over it, you're never going to agree with all the people in your life. Grow up, move on, get on with life, disagree with him, whatever, who cares, you're entitled to, but just because of a clash of opinions we don't kick people out. We're quite happy to dish out a banning where applicable when things become ad-hominem, amongst other things. We're happy to kick out members when they're constant trouble too. In this case, the Mods have reviewed it, and we're fine for him to return if he wants to play ball like the rest of the members. I'd personally far rather kick out a few other members before him, but that's just not how we roll. Anyway this thread is going nowhere fast. He's welcome back regardless of if you agree or disagree with it. Discussion over. |
