1311371 2012-11-11 04:02:00 I had a go today at the store. Other than the most software. Is it really that you had to go into settings and add your own shortcuts? I got the start homepage and couldn't find MS Paint or Calculator ... Maybe power users will prefer the classic windows bar. Maybe the average Joe won't mind it too much nor at the office where apps are locked down anyway. Was a bit frustrating myself if I had to keep the new Start homepage.

To pin an app to the Start screen, type to search as Chill mentioned, then right-click the app and click Pin to start.

1311374 2012-11-11 04:54:00 It appeared the guy at Harvey Norman didn't know either :p
I rather not pin them, rather see a whole list of the apps that I can choose. Seems like you can bring up the homepage and then right click for all apps and then click again on the app.

He said I had to go into settings and add them in manually and b/c the demo software at the store was locked down he could not show me.
